All secret societies in the world list. Secret societies that rule the world. “Power is not with officials, but with groups”

Information about secret societies runs like a thread through the entire history of mankind. As a rule, they were created to achieve religious or political goals that were outside the law, so all the activities of secret societies were hidden.

Secret societies existed both in ancient times and among modern peoples. For example, at primitive people these were religious unions associated with the institution of taboo: the Egboe order (Cameroon), the Areois order (Polynesia), the Duk-Duk order (Islands indian ocean), and on the islands of Palau - a secret women's order. The right to join these societies was obtained either through money or through the passage of a physical test. The entry itself was accompanied by various ceremonies. In the Middle Ages, secret societies of adepts of magic and alchemists became widespread. The Rosicrucian Brotherhood formed in the eighteenth century. At the same time, the Freemasons and their closest brothers in aspirations, the Illuminati, gained strength. In the 19th century, the Napoleonic regime contributed to the creation of secret societies of coal miners, Philadelphians, the German Union, Charlottenburgers, Tugendbund, and others. secret alliances on the model of Young Italy - Young France, Young Germany, Young Poland, Young Switzerland. Spain also had secret societies: the High Templars, the Isabellinos, Young Spain, the Knights of the Sun. In Portugal, there were such secret unions of the Septemberists, Miguelists, Chartists. The Camorra rightly belonged to the secret societies ( Southern Italy) and Mafia (Sicily). In the northern states of America, the defenders of slavery created a secret society of the Golden Compasses. It was a member of this society that President Lincoln was assassinated. Over time, the slave union entered the Ku Klux Klan society. In Russia, people from high society at the end of the 18th century organized a secret society of freemasons. Russian political secret societies became widespread during the reign of Alexander I, when the liberal policy was replaced by a tough Arakcheev regime.

The greatest popularity and influence in the world nevertheless received six secret societies.

The secret society of the Illuminati was founded in May 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, a professor at the Bavarian Ingoldstadt University, who believed that a person, as the creation of mother nature, is not bad, the state, religion and environment make him that way. With his like-minded people, he founded an order whose main goal was to make a person enlightened and free him from the influence of all social institutions. The founder of the Order of the Illuminati himself was a Freemason and received the approval of the Masonic lodge for the activities of the new secret society. New members of the Illuminati did not join the order, but were recruited. Since 1784, the activities of the Order of the Illuminati have been banned in Bavaria. Until now, no one knows the Order has collapsed or is underground. But the sign of the Illuminati - "The All-Seeing Eye" is on state seal United States of America. And this fact, of course, causes a lot of speculation and conjecture regarding the Order of the Illuminati.

In Rome and New York, the headquarters of the Opus Dei (God's Cause) organization, whose activities are also shrouded in mystery, are located. It is known that it has 85 thousand members from more than 60 countries. This organization has $42 million in its accounts. Opus Dei belongs to the Catholic Church. This order was created in 1928 by the priest Josemaria Escrivá. The main goal of Opus Dei is to support the religious consciousness in society and make all sections of society treat work as a sacred act. All members of the order take vows of complete obedience and chastity and are required to obey a strict daily routine: prayers, reading religious literature, pacification of the flesh, including self-flagellation. Some members of the order wear chains (a chain with spikes). Most of the members, called "cooperados", do not take any vows, but only collaborate with Opus Dei. Pope Paul II celebrated the achievements of Opus Dei in the field of mercy. There is evidence that the order had connections with the Spanish fascists, with anti-Semites and persecuted some Catholics.

Another secret society "Skull and Bones" ("Skull and Bones") in 1832 was founded by a senior student at Yale University, William Russell. The goal of the society was to thoroughly prepare the members of the society for the management of all spheres of American society. Each year, only 15 people could become new members of the society. Subsequently, almost all of them became either political and social leaders, or famous athletes, etc. Today the society has about 800 members. According to some reports, it was the members of this secret order that brought Hitler to power. The Fuhrer's financier had business ties with an American bank owned by a member of the Skull and Bones society - grandfather former president US Bush Jr. The ceremony of accepting newcomers into the ranks of a secret society looks like a costume performance. In everything, the desire of members of society to emphasize their elitism is traced. On the day of graduation from the University, a graduate member of the order receives $15,000, and by the time of the wedding he is supposed to give an old grandfather clock. Although in America the activities of this order are ridiculed, it is said that, despite this, "Skull and Bones" rule America.

To the north of San Francisco is the Bohemian Grove - an elite vacation spot. It is owned by a men's arts club called the Bohemian Club. It was organized in 1872. Every year in July, the most influential people from all over the world come here to spend a two-week vacation here. In a beautiful grove, everything is done for the living and entertainment of club members and their guests. There are about a hundred comfortable sleeping houses in the grove. Guests behave at ease - walk, play, talk. Although the motto of a holiday in Bohemian Grove is “Spiders that weave webs don’t come here,” there is evidence that many political and financial deals are made here. It is said that the Manhattan Project was approved in Bohemian Grove in 1942, which led to the atomic bombing of Japanese cities.

The symbol of the Bohemian Club is the wise owl. In front of the statue of a forty-foot owl, the annual effigy burning ceremony is performed as a cleansing procedure for members of the club.

In 1973, the most influential banker David Rockefeller, a professor at Harvard University Zbigniew Brzezinski, created The Trilateral Commission. The Commission was conceived as an organization that would include "the best minds in the world". The commission represented the interests of three parties − North America, Japan and Western Europe. At the meetings of the commission, the fate of the world was decided. Members of the secret society set themselves the goal of promoting cooperation between regions on all issues. In fact, the tripartite commission resolved issues in the interests of a narrow circle of people from each country. It is believed that the commission took part in the preparation of the Soviet "perestroika". The Trilateral Commission is actively promoting the "new world order". The Trilateral Commission has developed a fairly effective mechanism to influence events in the world.

The "Order of Freemasons" or otherwise "Masons" is a powerful organization whose roots go deep into antiquity. For Masons, all people are divided into enlightened and profane. Naturally, the enlightened are the members of the order who own its secrets, and the profane are all the rest.

Until now, no one can accurately name the source of the birth of Freemasonry. There are several versions: the temple of King Solomon, the crusaders, religion and Roman corporations of artisans. The teachings of the Freemasons are filled with ancient Greek myths and the names of mythical characters and real personalities who have developed their abilities to the supernatural. Freemasons also use the teachings of ancient sects, the wisdom of teachers of ancient times: Rama, Buddha, Paton, Confucius, Pythagoras, Mohammed and Jesus.

The "chosen ones" study ideas about the world and the universe, about the structure and hierarchy of the order through the ongoing rituals and mysteries. All the teachings of the Freemasons, their activities and plans are hidden from outside world. Since ancient times, it was believed that the one who owns the secret, especially the secret of knowledge, has the opportunity of direct communication with God, because he is the Chosen One.

Everyone who joined the Masonic lodge had their own reasons for this. Someone longed to gain knowledge, someone wanted to benefit common cause, someone feel exceptional or occupy a high position in society. But regardless of what was the reason for becoming a Freemason, every Freemason must, without hesitation and reflection, unquestioningly make any sacrifices for the sake of realizing the goals of the Order and sacredly keep the secret and loyalty to the Masonic brotherhood. The Mason belongs to the Order undividedly: in the first place in life - the Order, and only then - a citizen, a family man, a person. The ability to keep a secret is one of the virtues of every Mason. For a Mason, a secret remains a secret forever, no matter when and who revealed it. There is another reason for the need for a member of the Masonic lodge to keep a secret. The fact is that the main goal of Freemasonry is the creation of good. A good deed that is announced publicly is a direct path to the pride of the one who did it. Masons believed that true charity should be carried out secretly - only then it will reach the one in need of it. People who are haunted by the existence of a secret society see in the activities of the Freemasons a worldwide conspiracy, secret intrigues. But no one thinks about the fact that Freemasonry has existed for a long time, but no one has been able to accurately point out the results of their "villainous activities." Masons were outstanding sons of humanity: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Niccolò Paganini, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, writers Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Walter Scott, Mark Twain, Rabindranath Tagore, Oscar Wilde, poets Robert Burns, Rudyard Kipling. Theodore Roosevelt and several other American presidents were members of the Masonic fraternity. Winston Churchill was a Freemason, the English King Edward VII was in the brotherhood before accession to the throne. The Freemasons included John Jacob Astor and Henry Ford, explorers of the polar expanses Robert Peary, Matthew Henson, Admiral Richard Byrd. Lunar pioneer astronaut Edwin Aldrin brought a banner with Masonic emblems to the surface of the Moon in his pocket. The US Constitution, which proclaimed human rights, was written by Freemasons.

Outstanding personalities who were Freemasons also lived and worked in Russia: A.S. Pushkin, A.V. Suvorov, M.I. Kutuzov, Zhukovsky, Gumilyov, Sumarokov, Voloshin. Is it possible to imagine that these people could plot against Russia? The pride of Russia - Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy has repeatedly said that his views are very close to Freemasonry. Already the fact that the Russian Masonic lodges brought together so many the best people countries, speaks of the existence among the Masons of an atmosphere of spiritual quest and a desire to bring good to people. After a long period Russian history in 1991, the first Masonic lodge in the renewed Russia was established. Today Freemasons work in Moscow, Voronezh, St. Petersburg and Arkhangelsk. They are the successors of the world movement of freemasonry and work in the field of spiritual architecture.

The requisites of Freemasonry are: a Jewish candlestick, Greek columns, a sword, a dagger. Masons do not part with their symbols: a triangle, a candle, a compass, a goniometer, a hammer, a spatula, etc. Several emblems serve as the seal of Freemasonry. The most common is a large circle, and two intersecting equilateral triangles are inscribed in it. The simplest seal of Freemasonry is a six-pointed star.

Each of the Masons tries to achieve perfection by taking "seven steps on the seven steps of the ladder leading to the temple of Solomon."

At the heart of the idea of Freemasonry is to create a kingdom of love and truth on earth. There is nothing wrong with that. Everyone who has joined the Order of Freemasons hopes to master something secret by taking seven steps along the “ladder of perfection”. And what the Mason will find on the last rung of this "ladder" is the main secret of Freemasonry.

The New World Order is a scary enough concept, even if you're a healthy skeptic of conspiracy theories. However, you will not be surprised to learn that many people believe in them. There are secret societies, they are convinced, and their goal is to get rid of democracy at any cost. possible way. The elites who belong to them are able to rule the world, instilling in us the illusion of freedom of choice. However, it is they who will ultimately decide his fate and establish total control over him. At least that's what most conspiracy theorists make. Here are 10 secret societies that could rule the world.

Illuminati

Members of this society have been among us for quite a long time. It appeared back in 1776 and initially was an association of scientists and philosophers who opposed the power of the Roman Catholic Church. Over time, the society became quite numerous and now probably has thousands of members. Among them are famous people like Beyoncé, Kanye West and Jay-Z. The terrorist act of September 11, 2001 in New York, the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the activities of the military base "Area 51" are often associated with the Illuminati.

Masons

You may be surprised, but members of this society have the right to tell others that they are Freemasons. As you can see, their association is not so secret. To become a Freemason in the US, you must be a male, but in Europe, women can also join their ranks. The Vatican believes that Freemasons are worse than the devil and have long since sold their souls for his wicked promises and god-like status after death. The members of society themselves believe in good will which in no way depends on religion. Among the Masons, there were 8 people who signed the US Declaration of Independence. No, these guys can't be that bad!

bohemian club

Located in the California city of Monte Rio, the Bohemian Grove is where America's most influential people come to be away from the civilized world and relax in the open air, devoting time to theatrical performances and pagan rituals. Yes, you got it right. Not only do high-ranking members of the Bohemian Club dress up in appropriate attire for the occasion, they also perform sacrificial rites by burning an effigy in front of a huge statue of an owl surrounded by sequoias. Their pastime is usually described as "a musical drama celebrating summer and nature". Presumably, Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan took part in the ancient ritual.

"Opus Dei"

A relatively young society that gained fame largely thanks to Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. In his book, the author portrayed its members as rather radical keepers of some secret knowledge, ready to do much to protect them. In fact, Opus Dei is supported by many leaders of the Catholic Church, including the popes. Nevertheless, conspiracy theorists are convinced that Opus Dei is a dangerous cult, and its members are insane fanatics engaged in self-mutilation, capable of both conspiring against the world and unimaginable crimes.

Ku Klux Klan

This society has a long history marked by racism and violence. The Ku Klux Klan appeared after the end of the American Civil War and became a terrorist force soon formed Democratic Party. It was founded by defeated veterans of the army of the South, who set as their goal the liberation of the country from the "invasion" of blacks, who, thanks to the Republican North, said goodbye to the status of slaves.

It is hard to imagine that such a terrible and unfair association can exist today. However, the Ku Klux Klan is still active in 25 states and has about 8,000 members. Moreover, the society has special websites where it promotes its ideas.

"Black Hand"

Founded in 1911, the "Black Hand" consisted of officers from the army of the Kingdom of Serbia. Initially, their goal was to unite all Serbs into one state. However, over time, the "Black Hand" turned into a grouping similar to a mafia structure: members of the society killed national leaders, and then replaced them with their own people. If only they knew that the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand would start the First World War!

Order of the Knights Templar

Society appeared in the Middle Ages. In 1139, the knights who served the Catholic Church united to form the Knights Templar. He fought for his own interests - mainly for wealth, the destruction of Protestants and all objectionable religions. The Templars were closely associated with the infamous Crusades and vowed to do whatever it took to protect Christians from foreign "evil". Now the order is no longer on the "battlefield", but their values are still alive.

bilderberg club

Bilderberger conferences have been held annually since the early 1950s. Approximately 150 people belonging to the world's elite gather to discuss in a relaxed atmosphere common problems or get to know each other. No one but the members of the club is allowed to know what issues they raise at conferences. To find out what rich people and scientists are discussing at club meetings, conspiracy theorists have spent a lot of effort. The secrecy of the meetings forced them to come to disappointing conclusions. Bilderberg, they believe, is capable of destroying world economy, turn the world into a police state, or use a bioweapon to wipe out humanity from the face of the earth.

Anunnaki

No list of secret societies would be complete without the lizard people. The theory looks absolutely crazy. However, thousands of people are sure: our planet is teeming with these malevolent creatures who have learned to take on human form. From time to time they make mistakes, and then we learn about their true nature. The Anunnaki are powerful, conspiracy theorists believe, and can be found in every field of human endeavor, from politicians to musicians. It is generally accepted that they control humanity and distract people from their villainous plans.

"Anonymous"

Of all the hideous and frightening secret societies, Anonymous is a relatively harmless association. It is an international network of hackers whose sole purpose is to expose government crimes and bring the truth to the public consciousness. Anonymous is more of a subculture than an organization. Its members are scattered all over the world and do not have a common leader. That is why the logo of the association depicts a man without a head.

How else Dictator come to power if not through secret societies? Here is a list of the most influential and the most secret organizations who spread their influence all over the world and clearly showed that it is better to control the people from the shadows.

1. Rosicrucian Order

Rosicrucians or the Knights of the Rose and Cross - secret order, founded by Christian Rosicrucian at the beginning of the tenth century in Germany. The influence of this organization spread throughout the world in a matter of decades. It was from this secret society that the Illuminati and the Order of the Golden Dawn later originated. The main goal of the Rosicrucians was the creation of a philosophical and religious doctrine capable of explaining all the secrets of the universe and thus make people enlightened and happy. A confirmation of the seriousness of intentions is the list of members of this organization. So at one time the Order of the Knights of the Rose and Cross included Dante Alighieri, Shakespeare and Francis Bacon. Despite the fact that more than 1000 years have passed since the creation of this powerful organization, it officially exists to this day. Any information about its activities is hidden.

2. Skull and Bones

This secret underground organization was created by students of Yale University with the aim of conducting "student government". But not everything is so harmless and simple ... Firstly, only aristocrats, and with Anglo-Saxon roots and Protestants by religion. All this has led fans of conspiracy theories to believe that the "Skull and Bones" gathers under its wing the descendants of aristocrats, with the aim of installing them in the highest government positions. Indeed, the members of this organization are George Bush Sr. and George W. Bush, John Kerry, all US Chief Justices and most US Senators. In addition, the society has excellent funding from its matured members and officially owns several islands and a huge amount of real estate.

3. Masons

Masons or as they are also called freemasons- this is one of the most famous and popular secret organizations, which is credited with almost world domination. But is it really so, let's see. According to legend, society has its roots in time immemorial when the construction team was invited King Solomon for the construction of the temple and for the convenience of management, divided into three categories(or steps), depending on their professionalism. And what can be so dangerous in masons, you ask? And the fact that, by analogy with construction, they are, according to one of the versions, built the whole modern world . Members of Masonic lodges different time were: Napoleon Bonaparte, George Washington, Kemal Ataturk, Walter, Johann Goethe, Winston Churchill and many other very famous people. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that despite the fame of its members, the society is not officially engaged in anything, representing a kind of interest club, in which the discussion of politics and religion is strictly prohibited. Also, women are not accepted into Masonic lodges.

4. Templars

Knightly Order, founded by Hugo of Payenne and several knights who remained in the Holy Land (Jerusalem) after the first crusade, ostensibly to protect pilgrims from raids and robberies. The goal, of course, is very good, given that the Templars themselves called themselves poor knights, but after only half a century, the order had enormous wealth and lands throughout Europe. Of course, this can also be explained by the fact that even the first knights of this secret society were wealthy European aristocrats, but not everything is so simple, because the basis of all further activities of the Templars were finance. By the 12th century the Templars had the world's first banking network with offices in all major European cities. Turning to one bank, the client could deposit money, having received an analogue of a modern check, and after any time, pick up his savings in each of the branches of the knight's bank, simply by presenting the check. This banking invention made traveling much safer, as merchants and aristocrats no longer needed to transport their money, it was enough just to keep a receipt. The activities of the order was officially terminated on Friday, October 13, 1307 by decree of Pope Clement V and King Philip the Handsome of France. Most of the knights were slaughtered while sleeping, but many managed to escape. According to one version, it was thanks to the activities of the Templars America was discovered, and their order was transferred overseas.

5. Thule Society

In it secret political and occult society , created in Germany after the First World War, included the entire top of the Third Reich, including Adolf Hitler, Rudolf Hess and Arthur Rosenberg. It was Thule who created the German Workers' Party, which brought Hitler to power. The main goal of the society was to find the origins of the Aryan race, in the mythical land of Thule, located in the area north pole and gone under water, leaving only one part of itself on the surface - Iceland. The society is said to have secret knowledge by influence on the world, which Hitler used to conquer the whole world. But he also banned the activities of the organization as soon as he received power. Perhaps he simply did not know all the secrets that this Thule society concealed.

6. Bilderberg Club

Or Belderberg conference, as the members of this secret group call themselves, - an annual meeting 130 members club, consisting of the most influential representatives of politics, business and the largest banks, the leadership of the leading funds Mass Information . Access to this secret meeting is possible only by personal invitation. Headquarters The Bilderberg Club, which got its name from the Dutch hotel where its first meeting took place in 1954, is located in New York in the office Carnegie Endowment. And any filming, recording and comments for the press are strictly prohibited. Participants club were or are: Marilyn Monroe, Barack Obama, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks and many others. What once a year the people who dictate world order- a secret under seven seals. Thus, this organization is currently active secret society, whose activities can be seen firsthand.

The Opus Dei rating opens, or the Prelature of the Holy Cross and the Cause of God is the personal prelature of the Catholic Church, whose main belief is the belief that people can achieve holiness and usual life is the direct path leading to godliness. The order was formed in 1928 in Spain by the Catholic priest Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer, with the blessing of Pope Pius XII.

Surprisingly, in the pages of one of the best-selling and overrated books in the world, The Da Vinci Code, by Dan Brown, it was stated that Opus Dei is a secret organization whose goal is to destroy the Priory of Zion and everyone who tried to reveal the "truth" about Christianity and the truth about the alleged royal lineage of Christ. In addition to the book, there was still a huge amount of controversy related to the strictness of the religious structure of Opus Dei.

Since the Catholic Church forbids secret societies and membership in them, debunkers of Opus Dei often lament that the organization is secret and has a secret and sinister policy. Although…

9. Priory of Sion

After the publication of The Da Vinci Code, public attention turned to the Priory of Zion. In fact, to the dismay of those who wanted to join this community, it was fictitious. It was a hoax invented in 1956 by the pretender to the French throne, Pierre Plantard. Existing letters written by Plantard, de Cherisey, and de Sade to each other in 1960 confirm that the three were involved in a blatant fraud, describing schemes on how to deal with criticisms and various allegations in order to keep their fictitious organization alive. Despite this, many people still continue to believe that the "Priority of Zion" exists and functions to this day.

The "Priority of Sion" has existed since 1099 and included such great minds as Isaac Newton and Leonardo da Vinci.

The Order protects certain royalty, since they believe that they are the literal descendants of Jesus and his supposed wife Mary Magdalene, or at least King David.

The society is committed to the creation of a "Holy European Empire", which should be the next hyperpower, establishing the New World Order, leading to peace and prosperity.

8. Bilderberg Club

This group differs from others in that it has no official membership. This is an annual secret conference of about 130 participants, most of whom are influential people in the fields of politics, business and banking, as well as heads of leading Western media. Entrance to the conference is by personal invitation only. The meeting is usually held in one of the five-star hotels in the world. Topics discussed at the conference are kept secret. The first meeting took place in 1954 at the Bilderberg Hotel in the Netherlands.

This meeting was organized by several people. Polish immigrant and political adviser Joseph Retinger, who was worried about rising anti-American sentiment in Western Europe, suggested holding a conference where European and American leaders could discuss all pressing issues.

Although the agenda and list of participants were made public, the details of the meeting remained unknown. In addition, the content of the conferences is kept secret, and attendees undertake not to disclose the matters discussed. The justification for the secrecy of the group is that at the meeting, participants can speak freely without fear that every word may be misinterpreted by the media.

Needless to say, this group is constantly surrounded by controversy and theories.

7. Illuminati

The Illuminati (calling themselves "enlightened") is a secret society of an occult-philosophical and mystical nature, which was formed on May 1, 1776 in Ingolstadt by Adam Weishaupt. It was originally known as the "Bavarian Illuminati". Then the group was considered outlaws, but many influential intellectuals and progressive politicians joined its ranks. Due to the fact that the Illuminati did not consider faith in the Almighty to be the main thing, the society became especially popular among atheists. In addition, most of the participants are humanists. It is widely believed that the Illuminati seek to overthrow the existing religion.

Internal panic over a change in leadership and government attempts to outlaw the group led to its destruction in 1785. Despite this, theorists such as David Eck and Was Penre have argued that the "Bavarian Illuminati" still exists today. Although there is very little evidence for this theory. It was even believed that the Skull and Bones Society was an American offshoot of the Illuminati.

Many believe that the Illuminati is still in control of the world government and that they want to create a One World Government based on humanism and atheistic principles.

6. Templars

Sixth place in the list of the most famous secret societies in the world is occupied by the Knights Templar, an international, philanthropic, chivalric order associated with Freemasonry. This is a modern offshoot of Freemasonry, which is not directly related to the spiritual and chivalric order founded in the Holy Land in 1119 by a small group of knights led by Hugh de Paynes, after the First Crusade. Modern Templars deny their connection with the medieval order, but actively use its symbols and ideas.

To become a member of the Society, you must be a Third Degree Freemason. Despite claims by Freemasonry that no Masonic organization is a direct legacy of the medieval Templars, certain ranks and rituals are apparently copied from the medieval order. These are known as "commemorative titles" or degrees. However, despite the fraternity's official claims, some Masons, "non-Masons", and even anti-Masons insist that certain Masonic rites and titles have a direct Templar influence.

5. Hermetic Order "Golden Dawn"

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (or, in most cases, simply the Golden Dawn) is a magical order that is an occult organization that operated in Great Britain during the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Its members practiced theurgy, magic, alchemy and encouraged the spiritual development of their adherents. It is considered the progenitor of most occult groups.

The Golden Dawn belief system is mainly taken from Christian mysticism, bondage, alchemy, religion ancient egypt, freemasonry, hermeticism, theosophy, magic, and renaissance writings. William Westcott and Aleister Crowley are the best known members of the group.

The fundamental documents of the order, known as the "Ciphered Manuscripts" were translated into English language, using a cipher written by Johann Trithemius. On 60 sheets of the document, magical rituals were described, the basic structure of which comes from the Rosicrucians.

4. Order of the Oriental Templars

The Order of the Oriental Templars is an international occult-religious organization that has existed since 1902. It was originally conceived by Karl Kellner, Franz Hartmann and Theodor Reuss as a Masonic academy that would reflect the symbolism of several occult-mystical communities. But in 1912 the organization became the bearer of Thelema under the leadership of the occultist Aleister Crowley.

The Order considers itself associated with Freemasonry, but it has not received recognition from Masonic organizations and is qualified by a number of researchers as "pseudo-Masonry". On the this moment has about 3,000 members. They have several levels of initiation, as well as stylized rituals with the participation of virgin clerics, children and priests. Gods from Egyptian mythology and the devil are mentioned.

3. Order of the Rosicrucians

Rosicrucianism (Order of the Rosicrucians, Rosicrucians, "Order of the Rose and Cross") - theological and secret mystical society, allegedly founded in the late Middle Ages in Germany, by Christian Rosycross.

Interestingly, between 1607 and 1616 two anonymous manifestos were published, first in Germany, and then throughout Europe. They were called Fama Fraternitatis RC (Glory of the Brotherhood) and Confessio Fraternitatis (Confession of the Brotherhood). Under the influence of these documents, representing the "most honored order" of mystic-philosopher-scientists, spreading the "worldwide reformation of mankind", the ground was set for a movement that Frances Yeats later called the "Rosicrucian Enlightenment". Third important document in society, arose as early as 1459. He described how Christian Rosencreutz, a traveler and alchemist, married the king and queen in the Wonderful Palace.

"Rosicrucianism" was associated with Protestantism and, in part, Lutheranism. According to historian David Stevenson, "Rosicrucianism" also influenced the development of Freemasonry in Scotland. Many secret societies claimed to have received their succession and sacraments, in whole or in part, from the original "Rosicrucians".

There are now a huge number of Rosicrucian groups, each of which claims to be closest to the original.

2. Freemasonry

Freemasonry is an international movement aimed at the spiritual improvement of the individual and the brotherhood of people of different religions, nationalities and views. Some researchers suggest that Freemasonry comes from associations of builders who built the pyramids in Egypt, others argue that the movement originates from the late 16th and early 17th centuries from building associations of masons.

Be that as it may, Freemasonry is now spread throughout the world and is represented in various organizational forms lodges, grand lodges, supreme councils, chapters, areopagus, consistories, federations and confederations. The total number of representatives of this movement in the world is estimated at 4,000,000 people.

Masons hold their regular meetings in a ritual style. They use special signs and handshakes to reveal themselves to other possible Freemasons. Signs vary by lodge and are frequently changed and updated. This protects the groups from outsiders wishing to infiltrate the lodge. Freemasons wear special stylized clothing worn by freemasons in the Middle Ages. The most famous piece of clothing is the apron.

To become a Mason, you must be recommended (in some cases 3 times) by a person already in the lodge. You must be over 18 years of age and have sufficient education. Many religions prohibit entry into this order, for example, the Roman Catholic Church, anathematize such people.

1. Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones is a secret society of Yale University students, formerly known as the Brotherhood of Death. It is the oldest university secret society in the USA. It was organized in 1832 and uses rituals similar to Freemasonry to this day. Its members meet every Thursday and Sunday in a building they call "The Tomb".

The names of the people who make up the society were never kept secret until 1970. It is known that Bush father and son, the Rockefellers, as well as many representatives of the highest US elite were its members.

Interestingly, some suggest that the CIA is made up entirely of members of the order. However, in 2007, the Central Intelligence Agency issued an official statement that it had nothing to do with the Skull and Bones Society.

Billionaires, generals, American presidents belonged to secret and sinister organizations.

Can an elite group of powerful players control the world, do they really control the masses through their covert actions? Secret societies have been around us for centuries. For the same amount of time, rumors about their activities spread. To your attention the top 10 most mysterious and powerful organizations. Let us add that one of them carries an unprecedented danger to the world.

No. 10. "Hellfire Club"
