Anatoly Mikhailovich Kashpirovsky (11th August ( 19390811 ) , Proskurov, Ukrainian SSR) - a psychotherapist who gained fame in 1989 thanks to the television programs “Health sessions of the psychotherapist Anatoly Kashpirovsky”, broadcast on the channel of the Central Television of the USSR.

Biography

Treatment Method

According to A. M. Kashpirovsky, the subject of his psychological impact are physical (not mental) disorders of the human body, indirectly this is evidenced by the phrase on the talk show “Let them talk” dated December 14, 2005: “It is impossible to heal with a sick brain, a sick brain I don't heal." Using a set of psychotherapeutic techniques, Kashpirovsky “turns on” a self-regulation system in a person, which ensures the production of the necessary drugs in the body to cope with pain, as well as with a particular disease. “Our body is a pharmacy, the entire periodic table,” he says. Thus, according to Kashpirovsky, morphine, insulin and other drugs that we, if necessary, introduce into the body, are constantly contained in microdoses in humans, their lack leads to diseases, and the normalization of life processes is achieved by creating programming situations from the outside.

Budyonnovsk

He took part in negotiations between federal forces and terrorists led by Shamil Basayev during the terrorist act in Budyonnovsk in 1995. As the former inter-district prosecutor of Budyonnovsk Sergey Gamayunov recalls in his book Budyonnovsk: Ten Years Later:

“Kashpirovsky was the one who first promised to put everyone to sleep and hypnotize, and in the end, when he saw all this blood, he saw these hostages, who were 20-30 people in the ward, exhausted, frightened, he felt bad there, and they literally carried him out in their arms.”

Nevertheless, Kashpirovsky managed to save many. As follows from the memoirs of Alexei Mitrofanov, thanks to the diplomatic actions of Kashpirovsky, part of the hostages was withdrawn, as evidenced by a documentary video where Shamil Basaev talks about this. Alexei Mitrofanov recalls in his blog:

“But there was one who had many hours of conversation with Basayev. It was Kashpirovsky. He went inside the hospital and had a long talk with the invaders. Probably, there will still be a great director who will make a film about this conversation. After all, this is the rarest case in history. Who could then guarantee the life and health of the world famous person?! What was the chance to influence militants who believed only in guns and force? ".

After negotiations between Kashpirovsky and Basayev, not a single shot was fired by the terrorists, and all the hostages remained alive.

Incident in Chelyabinsk

Police officers confiscated from a private entrepreneur cooperating with A.M. Kashpirovsky, 160 bags of salt, on the grounds that there are no markings on the bags of salt. According to one of the representatives of the anti-globalization initiative group law enforcement Chelyabinsk Kashpirovsky A.M. was brought to administrative responsibility for illegally engaging in healing, however, based on six similar materials, after a pre-investigation check by the inquiry department of the Central District Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Chelyabinsk, a decision was made to refuse to initiate a case on administrative offense due to the absence of an offence. Refusal materials are stored in the analytical department of the Central District Department of Internal Affairs. The "Conclusion of a specialist" submitted to the prosecutor by I. Shadrina is not an expert opinion, which, in accordance with the current legislation, should have been carried out by a special expert commission. The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia filed a protest against Supreme Court Russian Federation, recognizing the decision of the Chelyabinsk court as illegal.

Criticism

In the scientific environment

Also, the church, represented by the rector of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Sumy (Ukraine) Georgy Bavykin, states the following:

From a purely scientific point of view, so far none of the researchers, including Anatoly Mikhailovich himself, can explain the nature of this phenomenon ( means healing ). The Orthodox Church, throughout its two-thousand-year history, has to deal with this constantly. According to the testimonies of the holy fathers, when meeting with a demon, a person is seized with inexplicable fear, the body becomes numb, a person often cannot not only move, but also move his arm, the body loses sensitivity to pain. What happens at the "meetings" of Kashpirovsky.

Hieromonk Anatoly Berestov in his book "The Number of the Beast" notes that after Kashpirovsky's sessions, some children prone to epilepsy developed severe epileptic seizures up to epileptic status, when a seizure follows a seizure and ordinary therapeutic measures it is impossible to stop them. Such children had to be hospitalized in intensive care units. It was not always possible to save them. There were cases of death of children or severe complications were observed up to decortization - the death of the cerebral cortex, and then these children became severely disabled.

“I had to observe more than once the lightning-fast growth of brain tumors in children after watching A. Kashpirovsky's television sessions. Within 1.5-2 weeks, the tumor reached an enormous size (according to the data of a computed tomography study) and the operation became impossible.”

Evangelical Christian Baptists also have a purely negative attitude towards Kashpirovsky's activities. L. Sergienko, a presbyter in the city of Mytishchi, expressed the following thoughts in the newspaper Christian Word in December 1989:

Oh, how deeply mistaken is he who, even for a moment, thought that all this is good, such a person does not know what a sad end such gifts from the devil, the father of lies, lead to. Satan fights against Jesus Christ. He is waging this struggle especially vigorously in our day, foreseeing that he will not long reign and seduce people.

Awards

In 1990, he, the only foreigner, was awarded the prestigious VIKTOR award by Polish television for the most popular series of programs “A. Kashpirovsky's Television Clinic”. For the improvement of the Polish nation, he was thanked by the President of Poland, Lech Walesa. In 1995, in the United States, he was awarded a commemorative medal "For the recovery of veterans of World War II."

Anatoly Kashpirovsky was born in 1939. The exact place of his birth is not known. According to the information on the official website, this is the Ukrainian village of Medzhibozh, however, it is believed that the famous psychic was born in Stavnitsa or Proskurov (now Khmelnitsky). Anatoly grew up modest and hardworking, choosing a medical direction for himself after school. After graduating from the Vinnitsa Medical Institute in 1962, he began working at the local psychiatric hospital, and his medical career here lasted nearly 25 years.

Gradually, Kashpirovsky began to practice non-traditional methods of treating patients from various ailments. It is still unknown how he discovered unusual abilities in himself and whether he really had them. One way or another, people were delighted that they really improved their health. In 1989, Anatoly was invited to speak on all-Union television. AT live he demonstrated the technique of anesthesia at a distance during surgical operations.

For the Soviet society, extrasensory perception, and even on television, has become a truly breakthrough event. Kashpirovsky had thousands of fans demanding that he speak from television screens as often as possible. Several more wellness sessions followed, followed by over 300 million Soviet people. After that, Anatoly began to be invited to foreign television. In addition, he has taken part in many scientific conferences and even presented a report to the United Nations.

Anatoly Kashpirovsky led an active political life and joined the Liberal Democratic Party, becoming an MP State Duma. According to rumors, it was his influence that affected successful career permanent party leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky. In addition, the mysterious psychic has published many scientific books. The basis of his unique methods was strong suggestion, in fact, hypnosis of people, setting them up for self-healing. In the 90s, he also appeared on TV, but only as a guest on various programs, after which he emigrated to the United States.

Personal life

According to reports, Anatoly Kashpirovsky was married to a woman named Valentina, with whom he has two children, Elena and Sergey, now living in the United States. The second time the psychic married in 1992 to new sweetheart Irina. Together they lived until 2005, and the official divorce took place only in 2014.

Anatoly Kashpirovsky now lives in Brighton, USA and has a "star-striped" citizenship. He still practices his amazing methods of healing people, holding meetings with a fairly wide audience. In Russia, opinion is divided about the parapsychologist: today, most people consider him an ordinary charlatan, while others are sure that Kashpirovsky is just an experienced hypnotist and psychologist who is able to climb into the very depths of human consciousness.

Many people still remember Kashpirovsky's medical telesessions. Millions of people gathered in front of blue screens to get rid of warts, ulcers, alcoholism and many other diseases forever. Broadcast sessions were watched by everyone - from housewives to ministers. Among the spectators there were many who were really helped by these sessions. People believed that the doctor charges them with positive energy and transmits healing fluids through the screens, although Kashpirovsky himself never claimed this. He built his work as a high-class psychotherapist and helped people activate the internal reserves of their body.

1. Anatoly Kashpirovsky worked for 25 years in a psychiatric hospital named after academician A. I. Yushchenko in Vinnitsa.

2. Anatoly Mikhailovich is skeptical about the Hippocratic oath.“Even in the 6th year of medical school, I did not agree with his phrase “The doctor heal himself.” No one, including a doctor, can heal himself when it comes to a somatic disease. Hippocrates was not my idol. Pavlov and our other domestic scientists are incomparably higher than him, ”said the psychotherapist in an interview.

3. Anatoly Kashpirovsky claims that more than ten million people have been cured thanks to his sessions.“In every city where I perform, there are always my cured ones. Wherever I go, from Moscow to Kamchatka, the first thing I do is call people from the audience who, after my performances on TV, have had illnesses. Not once in 23 years has there been a case where a couple of dozen such people were not found in any hall, ”says the healer. With his sessions, Kashpirovsky tours not only in Russia. He has repeatedly performed in Israel, Germany, Canada, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and the USA.

4. In 1990, Kashpirovsky, the only foreigner, was awarded the prestigious Wiktory Prize by Polish television. He received the award for the most popular series of programs "A. Kashpirovsky's TV Clinic". For the improvement of the Polish nation, he was thanked by the President of Poland, Lech Walesa.

5. In 1991, Kashpirovsky met with boxer Mohammed Ali.“I have always longed to meet people whose personality, life and fate, as well as the scope of intellectual and physical differences, went beyond the generally accepted. Mohammed Ali was just an unusual and rare person with all the complexity of his unique personality, which aroused great interest, ”Kashpirovsky writes on his official website.

6. Contrary to popular belief, Kashpirovsky never charged water. This was done by Allan Chumak, who called himself. Kashpirovsky treated Chumak extremely negatively. “I know where he came from. It was created by my director. We broke up with him, and he put Chumak in the frame instead of me. And he could not do anything, only drove with his hands, lied that he was charging water, objects. He stole my idea of a television treatment and caricatured it terribly, ”said the psychotherapist in an interview.

7. Kashpirovsky, by the way, is very offended when he is called a psychic. He basically does not believe in their existence. “None of the “psychics” is any kind of psychic,” the psychotherapist writes on his official website. “We are all the same in physiology and anatomy, but not the same. And in this regard, nature does not allow exceptions from the constants and standards developed by it and firmly fixed for millions of years in human physiology!

8. Anatoly Kashpirovsky took part in negotiations between federal forces and terrorists led by Shamil Basayev during the terrorist attack in Budyonnovsk in 1995. Russian politician Aleksey Mitrofanov recalls in his blog: “He went inside the hospital and talked to the invaders for a long time. Probably, there will still be a great director who will make a film about this conversation. After all, this is the rarest case in history. Who could then guarantee the life and health of a world famous person?! What was the chance of influencing militants who believed only in guns and force?” After negotiations between Kashpirovsky and Basayev, not a single shot was fired from the terrorists, and all the hostages remained alive.

9. There are many legends and tales about Kashpirovsky. So, for example, they say that once he was invited to give a closed lecture for MGIMO staff. There were no healings. Kashpirovsky simply spoke about his method and somehow casually mentioned that he was treating, among other things, obesity. Hearing this, the embassy wives and ladies from the teaching staff crept behind the stage after the lecture. Kashpirovsky carefully looked at the suffering women crowded around him and said: "I give the installation - you need to eat less." The healer himself claims that there was no such thing in his practice: “I don’t treat people like that. This is not my technique and certainly not science.

10. Anatoly Kashpirovsky's daughter Elena is a three-time American karate-do champion.

1989 October 9th. The first medical TV session of Anatoly Kashpirovsky on Central Television, which gathered millions of Soviet viewers at the blue screens.

Waiting for a miracle

Almost the entire population of the country (from young to old, from the boss to the housewife) intended to be cured of various sores, everyone was waiting for a miracle, and it happened. Even if not with everyone, but most of the television audience felt a certain magical effect on themselves, something unusual in everyday life, stepping over from TV screens into the homes and apartments of ordinary citizens. Warts and postoperative scars disappeared from someone, someone got rid of chronic diseases in an incomprehensible way. And the heated discussions of this and five subsequent TV shows, vivid examples of “healed” people led to the mass belief of a huge audience in the Kashpirovsky phenomenon, which painlessly relieved enuresis, ulcers, alcoholism and other ailments. The country was divided into two camps: some believed him, others tried to convict him of fraud. But as soon as the session began, both of them sat down in front of the TV together.

Kashpirovsky: biography

Photos of Kashpirovsky easily dispersed throughout the country, there were almost every family, because almost everyone wanted to experience the healing effect of such an unusual and riveting So who is he - Anatoly Kashpirovsky, who made the whole country talk about himself in an instant?

The biography of Kashpirovsky is quite common and differs little from the life of the average Soviet citizen. Born in 1939, August 11; spent his childhood in the Ukrainian town of Proskurov (now Khmelnitsky). It can be assumed that at an early age, Anatoly could be interested not in cars, but in the actions and intentions of the people around him. After graduating from Vinnitsa in 1962, he worked as a psychotherapist in a psychiatric hospital for a quarter of a century, and in 1987 as a psychotherapist for the USSR national athletics team. The biography of Kashpirovsky boasts of the title of candidate of medical sciences he received, as well as the master of sports of the USSR in weightlifting. All his life, Anatoly Mikhailovich loved to sing, so it is not surprising that his trained vocal cords have become an indispensable tool for conducting television shows and public speaking in front of a huge audience.

Teleconference on psychological anesthesia at a distance

In addition to television broadcasts, Anatoly Kashpirovsky, whose biography is rich in various significant events and memorable meetings given not to every person, held two teleconferences on Central Television, performing live anesthesia of two patients before surgery without the use of anesthesia. Lesya Yurshova and Olga Ignatova were the patients of that memorable broadcast at the same time, for whom pain relief by the medical method was contraindicated due to a high allergic predisposition to all drugs. They underwent surgery to remove the hernia. To this day, none of the hypnotists has been able to repeat this trick.

Audience Encounters: Growing Appreciation and Popularity

There were also meetings with the audience (the so-called healing sessions), at which Kashpirovsky showed letters from grateful cured people. At such meetings, various “healing” attributes were sold (photos of Kashpirovsky, video cassettes with recordings of his sessions, etc.), which subsequently aroused great interest in the prosecutor’s office, because the sold goods were not labeled.

America in the life of Kashpirovsky

In 1995, Anatoly Kashpirovsky, whose biography made new round along the life spiral, moved to the United States. There he saved Russian emigrants from excess weight; The cost of the session was $50. In the same place, he was awarded a commemorative US medal "For the recovery of veterans of the Second World War." Before living in America, he traveled almost half the world, conducting his wellness sessions. He practiced in Poland for almost 20 years, and it was he, the only foreign citizen, who was awarded a weighty prize by Polish television for the enormous popularity of the television series “A. Kashpirovsky’s Television Clinic”, and Lech Walesa, the President of Poland, expressed gratitude for the improvement of the nation.

Kashpirovsky against the clergy and official medicine

The biography of Anatoly Mikhailovich Kashpirovsky includes constant conflicts with official medicine who recognized him as a charlatan, and the sessions he conducted were harmful to the psyche. The clergy categorically did not recognize Kashpirovsky, believing that only the Lord God could give healing. Kashpirovsky's biography has such interesting fact, like beating an opponent during the filming of the TV show “Let them talk” (aired on December 14, 2005), did not agree with Mikhailovich.

In 2006, in Chelyabinsk, he was charged with illegal practice traditional medicine. Moreover, it was compiled by an independent expert - the psychotherapist Shadrina, who was not present at any of Anatoly Mikhailovich's speeches. In this opus, Kashpirovsky was put on a par with the charlatans of the 90s, who called themselves healers. However, the man who saved thousands of lives, who more than once had the threat of going to jail, continued to treat people.

In 2009, the biography of Kashpirovsky, who had a long creative break, continued with a series of investigative documentaries “Session with Kashpirovsky”.

The series "Wonderworker" about Kashpirovsky?

In November 2014, the premiere of the drama series "The Miracle Worker" dedicated to the theme of psychic and mystical Fedor Bondarchuk, who played one of the main roles, played Kashpirovsky very similarly, although he himself claims that he did not play him. Even Kashpirovsky himself, whose biography can be clearly seen in this series, noticed a resemblance to himself and was very upset by this, because he considered the series a failure. Yes, and Bondarchuk, in his opinion, did not cope with the role. Anatoly Mikhailovich was especially offended that in the film he was compared with Alan Chumak, whom he never recognized as a doctor.

What is the secret of Kashpirovsky?

"Kashpirovization" of the whole country at that time in its emotionality could only be compared with the film "Slave Izaura". How can one explain the effects that occurred during television sessions? Was it a powerful healer's field or some kind of strong energy that can penetrate the homes of grateful viewers through the blue screens of televisions? Although, if we assume that such energy took place, it would definitely not be enough to charge the entire population of a vast territory. Yes, and Kashpirovsky himself never voiced during the sessions, which transmits some kind of energy or fluids through the screens; he always built his work professionally, as a psychotherapist of the highest class. Although some time later, the popularity of Kashpirovsky was interpreted as a manifestation of mass psychosis.

Hypnotist Super Popularity

So who is he - Kashpirovsky? The biography, the family of this person - the ruler of other people's souls and consciousness - are of constant interest to many people, because they want to understand what mechanisms of influence he used, which made it possible to achieve very impressive results and caused fierce disputes and confrontation of opinions.

In 1989, in the Soviet Union, Kashpirovsky was recognized as the man of the year, surpassing famous politicians in popularity. The secret services were afraid of him, because today the psychotherapist spoke about warts, and tomorrow he could send a crowd of people to the Kremlin.

Kashpirovsky's methods were aimed at activating a person's internal reserves, especially if the latter was easily suggestible and emotional. Most of the “healings” are accounted for by such viewers. During the TV sessions, rather high numbers of cures from various diseases, the percentage of which in relation to total number the audience was small.

What contributed to the success of Kashpirovsky's television shows?

Kashpirovsky's voice: confident, persistent, domineering

Anatoly Kashpirovsky, whose biography and family are of constant interest to a large mass of the population, was very confident and confident in front of the cameras, while maintaining all the required accessories of a professional hypnotist: the appropriate look, gestures, posture, intonation, and since most of the population knew practically nothing about the work of psychotherapists, this, of course, led to an increase in the expected effect, being perceived as a “magical” action. Also, the perception of the audience was indirectly affected by the uncharacteristic behavior of some people who were present at the session (waving their arms, turning their heads, slow, as if dancing, movement around the hall). Such unusual actions of the easily suggestible audience, due to its boundless faith in the possibilities of Kashpirovsky, caused a corresponding reaction among those present, infecting them with similar feelings.

The method of influencing the audience chosen by Kashpirovsky, which in psychotherapy is called the Kretschmer-Erickson method, played an important role in the practice of the psychotherapist. His technology lies in the lack of direct pressure on those participating in the hypnotic session.

Kashpirovsky knits a web of words, periodically inserting a phrase, the content of which carries a direct suggestion, which acts with particular force against the background of indifferent stimuli, because the listeners get the impression of participating in the process together with the psychotherapist.

Kashpirovsky: biography, personal life

Anatoly Mikhailovich was married to his admirer Valentina, with whom he lived for 22 years, having two children: a son and a daughter. In terms of the biography of Kashpirovsky, it is quite successful. His children and grandchildren are his pride. Son Sergei is a boxer, daughter Elena is a three-time American karate-do champion, granddaughter Inga is a two-time champion in the same sport.

In recent years, the psychotherapist has been with his personal assistant Irina, a citizen of the Czech Republic, who is the chosen one and personal companion.

The biography of Kashpirovsky positions this unique person as a citizen of the world, an absolute ascetic who cares little about material wealth. He, like every loving parent, dreams only of the happiness of his own children and grandchildren. To date, Kashpirovsky continues to hold screenings in Russia, America, Kazakhstan, Germany, gathering full houses.

Kashpirovsky became the ancestor of the mass appearance of sorcerers, magicians, psychics, who considered themselves entitled to treat people whose elementary illiteracy is reflected in the destructive habit of creating their idol.

Some consider him a talented psychotherapist, others - a successful swindler. Some of his sessions were healed of illnesses, while others were brought to the threshold of a psychiatric clinic. In any case, it is safe to say that the hypnotist Kashpirovsky, whose biography is presented in this article, is an ambiguous personality.

Despite his very specific activities, Kashpirovsky does not believe in the existence of psychics and considers phenomena to be pure fiction. Anatoly Mikhailovich has a Ph.D. in medical sciences, but he is very skeptical about the Hippocratic oath. Kashpirovsky is known in many countries of the world, he conducted sessions in Russia and Germany, Poland and Canada, the USA, Israel, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria.

The sessions conducted by Chumak and Kashpirovsky were perceived by the audience as some kind of mysterious magical action. However, Anatoly Mikhailovich never talked about the use of "", "fluids", "astral entities" and other subtle matters. His approach is a cross between hypnosis and the work of a psychotherapist.

From 1993 to 1995 Anatoly Mikhailovich was a State Duma deputy from the LDPR faction. On March 5, 1993, he announced his withdrawal from the party, accusing the LDPR leader Zhirinovsky of war propaganda and racism.
